We're Back In Action!
Following several years of attrition and diminished Foundation activity, we are back to full strength as of November, 2008. On Oct. 11, 2009 we held our 1st annual Run-Ed-Run and successfully raised a significant amount to further your children's education. Plan to attend the 2nd annual Run-Ed-Run on 10-10-10!
Our supporting role has gained new significance with the recent global economic recession and the associated cutbacks in funding for education. If you would like to participate as a Volunteer, please contact us.
Our Mission
Our mission is to enrich and elevate the educational experience of Douglas County students by providing curriculum enhancement grants to educators, and to recognize the extraordinary work of our Douglas County Teachers of the Year.
